Private use only
SpreadLens is a private, single-user tool. It is used exclusively by its owner, Martin Mainz, on the owner's own trading accounts.
- It is not a commercial product and is not sold, offered or provided to anyone else.
- There is no public sign-up, no download and no customer access.
- Only the owner's own cTrader accounts are connected – never third-party accounts.
- All data stays on the owner's computer and is used only for the owner's personal research.
About SpreadLens
SpreadLens is a private desktop application for monitoring spreads, analysing market data and accessing the owner's account information. It records bid and ask prices of the owner's own trading accounts and compares the spreads between brokers and accounts over time.
SpreadLens may also process trading signals and execute trades on the owner's own accounts.
The recorded data is stored locally on the owner's computer and is used for research, statistics and backtesting. The application is not distributed to third parties.
cTrader Integration
SpreadLens uses the official cTrader Open API to connect cTrader accounts that the account owner has explicitly authorised through the official cTrader OAuth process.
- Account information, symbol lists and live spot prices (bid/ask) are read for spread monitoring and market data analysis.
- Trades are only placed, modified or closed on the owner's own accounts, if the owner has granted trading permission and has enabled this in the application.
- SpreadLens is not a broker, holds no client funds and gives no investment advice.
Privacy
Retrieved market and account data is used only for the functions of the application requested by the account owner and stays on the owner's computer.
Credentials, API keys, client secrets and authorisation tokens are never published on this website. Tokens are stored encrypted on the owner's computer.
Access to a cTrader account can be revoked at any time in the cTrader account settings.
